Veidekke Sverige AB is bringing to fruition its previously signed letter of intent outlined in the press release of 22 May 2006, and signed yesterday evening an agreement to acquire SBS Entreprenad AB. The acquisition is subject to approval by the Swedish Competition Authority, whose opinion is expected to be announced in mid July.

The purchase price, which to some degree depends on SBS' result in 2006 and 2007, will amount to approximately SEK 100 million, of which about 25% will be reinvested in Veidekke shares during this period. The acquisition is expected to make a positive contribution to Veidekke Sverige AB's result starting already this year.
