Veidekke to build 'Little Bislett' for Olav Thon Eiendomsselskap

Veidekke Entreprenør AS has been awarded the contract for the construction of the 'Little Bislett' housing project by Olav Thon Eiendomsselskap ASA. The building totals 24,000 square metres and the contract will be carried out as a turn-key contract at a price of NOK 261.5 million excluding VAT.
The project consists of in all 220 apartments and approximately 4,000 m2 of commercial area. The market response to the 140 apartments offered for sale so far has been very good.


The project has two parking floors below ground, commercial areas on the ground floor and seven floors of apartments. The building will be built in in-situ cast concrete with facades of brick, glass and wood panelling.


Ground work will start in December this year, and all construction work is scheduled for completion by April 2008.
