Veidekke to build 101 homes at Risenga in Asker
Today Veidekke Entreprenør was awarded the contract to build 101 flats for Veidekke Eiendom at Risenga in Asker municipality. The contract has a value of NOK 226 million excluding VAT and is a turnkey project.
Veidekke will build two neighbouring projects just outside of the centre of Asker, Risenga Terrasse with 36 flats and Risenga Tunet with 65 flats. All of the flats are specially designed for the 55 plus age group with universal design, large, windowed balconies, cellar parking, common assembly rooms and guest flat. Veidekke is cooperating with the Asthma and Allergy Association, and all flats will be built with emphasis on a healthy indoor environment.
A total of approx. 13,000 square metres is to be built in nine structures ranging from three to five storeys with two joint parking cellars. The buildings will be constructed using in-situ concrete with façades of mainly wood panelling. There will also be built a municipal road and a noise-deflection wall. The project has been well-received by the market, and more than 50% of the flats have been sold since sales started in October. The total sales value for all of the flats is NOK 440 million.
Assuming official approval, groundwork will start at the January/February turn of the month and first takeover will be in May 2013.
