Veidekke to build 75 apartments in Rælingen
After selling 50 of the 75 apartments, Jacaranda Eiendom has entered into a contract with Veidekke Entreprenør to build the Strandvegen 1 residential project near Lillestrøm. This is a turnkey contract valued at NOK 200 million, excluding VAT.
The contract comprises building three five and six storey apartment buildings, a parking facility, outdoor areas and road and infrastructure work in Strandvegen and Torvaveien. The project is at the end of Strandvegen 1 in Rælingen municipality. It is a quiet area with mainly detached houses a few minutes from the centre of Lillestrøm, which has shopping, restaurants, cinemas, a library and cultural offerings.
In addition to efficient apartments with one, two and three bedrooms, the project includes unique top-floor apartments with large, private roof terraces. Apartments range in size from 41 square metres to the largest top-floor apartment of 124 square metres. The buildings will be built in concrete and steel with brick façades with wood and sheet details.
Work will be carried out in cooperation with Veidekke's local subsidiary Seby A/S in Romerike. Existing building on the site have already been demolished, and construction work is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2019.
