Veidekke to build at Tjuvholmen

Veidekke Entreprenør AS has been awarded the contract to build homes and business premises at Tjuvholmen in Oslo for Tjuvholmen Utvikling AS. Covering 7,400 sqm in all, the buildings are turnkey projects. Total value of the contract is NOK 143 million excluding VAT.

 

Two buildings are to be erected on the waterfront, currently termed building 86 and building 87. Building 86 will have business premises on the ground and first floors and 38 flats from the second to the eighth floors. The building will be constructed of in situ concrete with façades of copper and panelling.

Building 87 will also have business premises on the ground and first floors, while there will be 40 flats from the second to the eighth floors. This building will be constructed of in situ concrete with metal and stone façades.

Work will start in early August 2011 and be completed by Christmas 2012.
