Veidekke to Build Energy-saving Apartments in Gothenburg

SBS Entreprenad AB, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Veidekke, has signed a contract for the construction of 63 energy-saving apartments for Riksbyggen in Gothenburg, Sweden. The contract price is approximately 115 million SEK.
 
SBS is thereby initiating, together with Riksbyggen, the construction of a completely new urban district at Västra Eriksberg in Hisingen, Gothenburg. When finished, the new district will consist of approximately 2,000 apartments.
 
Veidekke's contract is for 63 apartments over four floors, with garage and storage areas in the basement.


This is a general contract. The construction work will commence in May 2007, and the project is scheduled for completion in spring 2009.
