Veidekke to build Fjordbyen Atrium in Vikersund
Veidekke Entreprenør has signed a contract with Fjordbyen Atrium AS (jointly owned by Bane Nor Eiendom and Modum municipality) to build 46 homes, commercial premises and parking in Vikersund. This is a turnkey contract valued at NOK 142 million, excluding VAT.
The contract comprises building 46 apartments in two four and five storey structures. In addition there will be 2,000 m2 of commercial premises on the ground floor that will accommodate a health concept with a pharmacy, doctor, dentist and physiotherapy. At the basement level there will be a parking facility for residents with a total of 58 spaces, bicycle parking and storage spaces.

The project will have an excellent location in the centre of Vikersund between the Tyrifjorden lake and the railway station. The apartments will have good sun conditions, and will have a high standard and modern, practical floor plans. All will have large balconies and most will have views of Tyrifjorden. There will also be large common areas on the roof terrace and in the atrium on the first floor. All apartments will have at least one parking space on the underground floor with lift access to their own floor.
Demolition work at the site has been completed. Groundwork will commence in January 2018, and the project is scheduled for completion in Q2 2019.
