Trafikverket has awarded Veidekke Entreprenad the contract to build feeder roads for the E4 motorway at Rosersberg in Stockholm. The value of the contract is SEK 155 million.

Construction work starts in April, and upon completion in the autumn of 2012 the Rosersberg industrial area and village will be directly connected to the E4. Among other things, the contract includes:

· Intersection with four ramps
· Bridge for ramp underneath the E4
· Work underneath and adjacent to the Arlanda railway
· Pedestrian walkways and bicycle paths
· Pump station and municipal water plant

"When we have finished the new E4 Rosersberg intersection, users will have access to a significantly safer road system. It is also beneficial to the environment, since heavy goods vehicles, which currently have to make detours, now have direct access to the E4," says Per Brinck, regional manager with Veidekke Entreprenad.
