The regional psychiatric centre at Tiller will operate as a local hospital with treatment facilities for inpatients as well as day patients and outpatients. The centre will have room for 44 inpatients and 18 day patients and will have a staff of 54 people.

The contract includes the construction of a new 2,250 m2 treatment facility. 3,900 m2 will be rebuilt, mainly by changing the double rooms into single rooms

The construction work starts at the beginning of September. The opening of the new wing is scheduled for next August, and all the construction work will be completed in the course of 2004.
