Veidekke to build school in Malmö, Sweden

Veidekke Entreprenad AB, Region Skåne, has won a MSEK 75 contract from Malmö Stad Stadsfastigheter to build a school at the foot of Malmö's landmark Turning Torso in Västra Hamnen.


The contract is a coordinated general contract.


Groundwork will commence as early as January 2009, and according to plan the school will be completed by the summer of 2010. The new building will be 5,700 square metres. The facade of the school will be brick, which will harmonise well with the other buildings in the area.
