Veidekke to build Sølvparken in Kongsberg
Veidekke Entreprenør AS his signed a contract with Sølvknuten AS c/o Stor-Oslo Eiendom AS to build 68 homes, retail premises and parking for the Sølvparken project in the centre of Kongsberg. This is a turnkey contract valued at NOK 348 million, excluding VAT.
The contract comprises building 68 apartments in three structures of 4, 5 and 6 storeys respectively, 11,000 m2 of retail premises for bulk buying and a parking facility for residents and customers with a total of 220 parking spaces.
The project is very centrally located in Kongsberg. The apartments will face west with good sun conditions, and will have a high standard and modern, practical floor plans. All will have large outdoor areas, and the majority will have a view of the church spire, the rapids and down the Lågen river, towards the Funkelia ski resort and the Skrim mountains. All apartments will have at least one parking space on the underground floor with lift access directly to their own floor.

Demolition work at the site starts in January, and the project is scheduled for completion in the new year of 2020," says District Manager Marius Plünnecke of Veidekke.
