Veidekke to build terraced houses in Asker for Neptune

Nesbukta 6 AS, owned 50/50 by Båtgutta AS and Neptune Properties AS, has signed a contract with Veidekke to build the residential project Yachtværftet at Landøya in Asker municipality. The contract is a design and build contract valued at just above NOK 100 million excluding VAT.

The contract involves building 30 three-storey terraced houses, associated outdoor areas and a common underground parking facility. The project is located in a maritime environment close to the old leisure boat yard at Landøya/Holmen in Asker, with a short distance to grocery stores, restaurants and numerous other services. The area also has several kindergartens, schools and a new swimming hall.

The houses vary in size from 145 square metres to 158 square metres and will be built with timber frames with façades of standing double-seamed impregnated cladding. Waterborne underfloor heating ensures good, snug heating of the homes. There will also be a communal gas tank on the site for those who want a gas fireplace as an option. All of the homes will have private gardens, ground terraces and roof terraces.

Neptune already has contracts with Veidekke to build Holtet Horisont I and Holtet Horisont II close to Bekkelaget in Oslo and Ensjøhøyden at Ensjø. Overall, Veidekke will now build 219 apartments for Neptune in Oslo and 30 terraced homes in Asker with an overall value of around NOK 600 million.
