Veidekke Anläggning Öst AB has been awarded its first job on Stockholm's Northern Link. The job is the first for Veidekke Anläggning Öst AB's newly established underground team, under the management of works manager Konstantin Spinos.

The client is the Stockholm Region of the Swedish Road Administration, and the total contract amounts to SEK 68,500,000.

The work tunnels, Albano and Teknikhöjden, are located at Roslagsvägen in Stockholm and comprise about 0.5 km of tunnel together with additions for future main tunnels.

"The job is especially valuable to us because it is the first contract for our newly established underground team", says works manager Konstantin Spinos.

The job is estimated to be completed in May 2007.
