The contract includes renovating and refurbishing of the existing shopping centre with a total floor area of 5,000 m2. The work includes refurbishing the facades, putting in new windows, encasing the balconies with glass, putting in new ventilation and heating systems as well as new lifts. It also includes the construction of a parking area and access roads.

After the renovation, the Romsås Centre will be converted into a modern and functional centre. The shopping area, the building's façade and the outdoor areas will be significantly upgraded to the delight of customers, shopkeepers and all those go to work in the centre every day.

The architect is Aviaplan AS. The work starts in August 2002 and will be completed by November 2004.
