CARROLLTON, TX – PCV│VRM Seeds of Hope, the non-profit arm of Carrollton,TX based Vendor Resource Management,  is partnering with Operation FINALLY HOME (www.babasupport.org) on a home giveaway project in South Dallas. The project will involve the construction of multiple homes that will be presented to wounded military veterans. The project will be announced on December 30thduring halftime of the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl that will be played at SMU’s Gerald Ford stadium.

The founder, owner and CEO of Vendor Resource Management and PCV Murcor, Keith D. Murray, has been intentional about helping revitalize distressed communities across the country.   He established PCV│VRM Seeds of Hope in 2009 to advance philanthropic efforts such as this.  Mr. Murray said, “From the very beginning this is the type of project I envisioned for PCV|VRM Seeds of Hope.  In addition to providing mortgage free homes to men and women of the US Armed Forces, we will be participants in a revitalization effort that will breathe new life into a distressed community.”

The entire list of partners participating in the home giveaway initiative includes PCV|VRM Seeds of Hope, Operation FINALLY HOME, the St. Philip’s School and Community Center, Forest Heights Neighborhood Development Corporation and HomeAid.  Operation FINALLY HOME was created by Bay Area Builders Association to provide custom made, mortgage free homes to wounded military veterans.  “Operation FINALLY HOME is honored and privileged to be teaming up with PCV|VRM Seeds of Hope, the St. Philip’s School and Community Center, Forest Heights Neighborhood Development Corporation and HomeAid to not only change the lives of America’s war wounded, but also the lives in the community we will help revitalize!  This will be a true 21st century barn raising and we would love all of Dallas, Texas involved in this life changing event for the community and America’s War Wounded!” stated BABA founder and president  Dan Wallrath.

The St. Philip’s School and Community Center has been a catalyst for change in the South Dallas- Fair Park area for over 20 years and donated the lots to make this project possible.  St. Philip’s Headmaster, Dr. Terry Flowers said, “This project is an injection! It boosts the confidence of our troops with a firsthand demonstration of our country’s respect and appreciation for their service and sacrifice. It also serves as an inoculation of development for a neighborhood which was in danger of going viral with neglect, deterioration and nihilism.”

PCV│VRM Seeds of Hope has contributed to previous BABA builds, but this will be the first multiple build project since the partnership was formed in early 2010.  The significance of this initiative is enormous.  Not only will military men and women be given brand new, mortgage free homes, but a distressed community will receive a tremendous boost that hopefully paves the way for future residential and commercial development.   Additionally, the services that will be  available to veterans through the St. Philip’s School and Community Center will ease their  transition into home ownership. At the same time, families that will take up residence in the neighborhood bring with them an understanding of service that will benefit the outreach efforts of St. Philip’s.  This makes for a win-win situation for both parties.
