VENDOR RESOURCE MANAGEMENT’S CHERYL TRAVIS-CRAWFORD TO BE HONORED AT WinDS 2ND ANNUAL NETWORKING EVENT

CARROLLTON, TX – Cheryl Travis-Crawford, Senior Vice President at Carrollton, TX based  Vendor Resource Management,  will be honored at the 2nd Annual Women in Default Servicing (WinDS) Networking Event to be held on September 12, 2011 at The Women’s Museum in Dallas, TX. The annual event is expected to draw 205-300 WinDS members and guests.

Ms. Crawford will be presented with the WinDS Leadership Award recognizing her commitment to excellence, service to others and longevity in the default services industry.   “Cheryl is very deserving of this honor.  Under her leadership VRM has set the standard for “Best in Class” service in the REO industry”, said VRM founder and CEO Keith D. Murray.  Sharon Bartlett, Director of Vendor Services for Freddie Mac, is also being honored at the event.

WinDS is a women’s organization whose mission is to help advance the careers of women in default services, while enhancing their sense of personal and professional success.  WinDS provides opportunities for women in the industry to learn, lead, grow, become better connected and share experiences with their peers from across the country. WinDS also offers training and mentoring for its members.

As Senior Vice President for VRM, Cheryl Travis-Crawford is responsible for developing products and services for the mortgage servicing industry and identifying infrastructures to improve efficiencies for VRM customers. Additionally, she oversees VRM University and VRM’s Carrollton office, where all of their client services are handled.  Ms. Crawford is also the Executive Director of VRM’s philanthropic division, VRM Seeds of Hope.  She has  been in the mortgage servicing industry since 1979, and was a recipient of the Home Savings and Loan Career Development Scholarship. Ms. Crawford graduated from Mills College in Oakland, California in 1983 with a degree in Administration and Legal Process with an emphasis in Economics, she went on to receive her MBA from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2007 and is on track for receiving her PhD in Applied Management in Decision Sciences from Walden in 2012. Prior to joining the VRM team, Ms. Crawford was the Director of REO Sales Operations for Freddie Mac from 1998 to 2008. Ms. Crawford was also a recipient of Freddie Mac’s Premier Achievement Award.
