Result from third party, external, expert investigation of blade incident on V112-3.0 MW

Det Norske Veritas (DNV) has carried out an investigation of the incident on 8  
September 2010, when a blade piece detached from Vestas' V112-3.0 MW prototype  
wind turbine in Lem, Denmark.                                                   

DNV's investigation has concluded that the cause of the incident is related to a
human error in the manually produced prototype blade. DNV's final conclusion    
thus confirms Vestas' own conclusion, ref. company announcement No. 35/2010 of  
10 September 2010.
