V90-3.0 MW order for Vestas in Canada

Vestas has received an order for 33 units of the V90-3.0 MW wind turbine for
installation in Canada. The order has been received from an affiliate of SUEZ
Renewable Energy NA, the renewable energy division of Houston, Texas-based SUEZ
Energy North America, Inc.

With SUEZ' acquisition of the Canadian wind operator and developer Ventus Energy
Inc., the company now manages a portfolio of 25 wind energy development projects
in a number of provinces in eastern Canada. The portfolio includes close to
2,000 MW of electricity generation in various stages of development.

“It is a great pleasure for Vestas to see our long-standing working relationship
with Ventus Energy further develop through SUEZ Renewable Energy NA. This order
supports Vestas' strategy of playing a leading role in the development of
Canada's vast wind resources,” said Jens Søby, President of Vestas Americas A/S.

“This order signifies another major step forward for SUEZ in its wind
development assets in Canada,” said Paul Cavicchi, president and CEO of SUEZ
Renewable Energy NA. “We are pleased to be working with a company that has
amassed such an excellent track record in terms of equipment quality and
customer service as Vestas.”

The order comprises supply and commissioning of the wind turbines and a
three-year service and maintenance agreement. Vestas will start delivery of the
33 turbines mid 2009 and expects to complete commissioning in the second half of
2009.

The above order does not affect Vestas' expectations for 2008 cf. Company
announcement No. 35/2007 of 6 November 2007.
