Company announcement No. 34/2008

Vestas receives another large order for the Spanish market

Vestas has received an order for 66 MW for another four projects in Spain. The
contract includes 28 units of the V90-1.8 MW wind turbine and 8 units of the
V80-2.0 MW wind turbine. The order comprises supply, installation, a
VestasOnline™ Business SCADA system, as well as a five-year service contract.

The order has been placed by Enel Unión Fenosa Renovables (EUFER) - owned 50 per
cent by Enel and 50 per cent by Unión Fenosa. EUFER has a total installed
capacity of more than 1,200 MW including wind power plants, small hydroelectric
power stations and cogeneration power stations. With an experience of almost two
decades in the market, EUFER confirms its high commitment to the environment and
to sustainable development.

“We are very satisfied that we have signed this new contract for the Spanish
market, which once again, confirms EUFER's confidence in Vestas and our
technology. Together with the 112 MW order received from EUFER last week,
EUFER's recent orders amount to a total of 97 wind turbines distributed on eight
wind power plants in Spain,” says Juan Araluce, President of Vestas
Mediterranean A/S.

The four projects i.e. Peña 1 and 2 and Picazo and Monteneme, will be installed
in Guadalajara in the region of Castilla-La Mancha, which is the region with the
highest total installed wind capacity in Spain with 3,131 MW installed by 1
January 2008. Delivery and commissioning of the wind turbines are scheduled to
start in 2009.

With an estimated annual production of approx 181 GWh, the four wind power
plants will save the environment from more than 104,000 tons of CO2 per year and
will provide enough electricity to power more than 39,000 Spanish households.

The above order does not affect the Vestas Group's expectations for 2008, cf.
Company announcement No. 25/2008 of 8 May 2008.
