Vestas receives order for 19 V90-3.0 MW turbines in Ireland
Vestas has received an order for the delivery of 19 units of the V90-3.0 MW
turbine for the Boggeragh Mountains project located in County Cork, Ireland. The
order has been placed by Green Energy Company Ltd and comprises supply,
installation and commission of the turbines, a VestasOnline™ Business SCADA
system as well as a long-term service agreement.

The Boggeragh Mountains project will be the largest wind power plant in Ireland
to date and will generate about 162 GWh per annum - enough to satisfy the annual
electricity need of more than 30,000 Irish households1 Wind Prospect Press
Release - IWEC 2008. Furthermore, the project will represent a significant
contribution to Ireland's renewable 2020 strategy.
Delivery of the wind turbines is scheduled for the autumn of 2009.
The above order does not affect the Vestas Group's expectations for 2008 and
2009, cf. Company announcement No. 46/2008 of 6 November 2008.
