Vestas Wind Systems, appointment of new Finance Director

As informed in announcement no. 14/2001 of 11 September 2001, the current Finance Director of Vestas Wind Systems A/S, Mr. Svend Sigaard, is appointed new Managing Director of the company effective as from 18 April 2002. Mr. Søren Vedel is appointed new Finance Director. Mr. Søren Vedel (45 years) will take up his position with Vestas when he can be released from his current position as Vice President, Corporate Accounting and Control at Danfoss A/S, however, no later than 1 May 2002.
