Vestas Wind Systems, committed orders for Vestas' wind turbines in the US and UK/Irish markets

The Vestas Group has received an order for 62 V47-660 kW wind turbines from the California based Cannon Power Corporation. Furthermore, the Vestas Group has secured a committed order for supply of 71 units of the V52 850 kW turbines with an option for 51 additional turbines from Powergen Renewables. The orders, which have a total value of around 500 mDKK and a further potential of 200 mDKK if the option is fully utilised, do not influence the Vestas Group’s expectations for year 2002.
