Vestas Wind Systems, First quarter 2006 developed as expected

Vestas reported Q1 revenue of EUR 715m, up 44 per cent on the year-earlier period. The Group's EBIT improved from a loss of EUR 37m to a profit of EUR 6m. The Group maintains its full-year revenue and profit forecast.
