Vestas Wind Systems, Interim financial report - second quarter 2006 as expected

Vestas reported Q2 revenue of EUR 900m, up 40 per cent on the year-earlier period. The Group's EBIT improved from a loss of EUR 53m to a profit of EUR 28m. Vestas' underlying profitability has thus been improved considerably, and the Group maintains its full-year revenue, profit and net working capital forecast.
