Vestas Wind Systems, Interim financial statement for the 1st half-year 2003 (1 January - 30 June 2003)

The Vestas Group's net turnover for the first half-year of 2003 amounts to mEUR 658.5 - an increase of 24% compared to first half-year 2002. The sales in MW have increased by 40% compared to first half-year 2002 to 646 MW. The EBIT in first half-year 2003 amounts to mEUR 9.0. The expectations for turnover and result for the full year 2003 are unchanged. The expectations for 2004 include an increased level of turnover to bnEUR 1.9 - 2.0 and an EBIT-margin of 9 per cent.
