Vestas Wind Systems, large order for Vestas in Australia

The Vestas Group has received turnkey contract to be delivered to Canunda Wind Farm project in Australia. The contract comprises 23 units of Vestas V80-2.0 MW and has been awarded by Canunda Power Pty. Ltd.,  a wholly owned subsidiary  of International Power Plc based in the UK. The 46 MW project is scheduled for completion in the beginning of 2005.
