Vestas Wind Systems, receives orders for V80 turbines for France

The Vestas Group has received orders for at total of 18 units of V80 wind turbines for three wind farms to be located in the Beauce region in France. The orders have been placed by Mistral Windfarms 1 LP and Mistral Energy 1 LP. When completed, the three projects will together form one of the largest wind parks in France. Delivery of the turbines will begin in the spring of 2006 and commissioning of the wind power plants is expected to take place during the summer of 2006.
