Vestas Wind Systems, selected as supplier to Canada's largest wind farm

The Vestas Group has received an order for the supply of 55 units of the V47-660 kW wind turbines with an option for an additional 59 turbines from Vision Quest Wind Electric Inc. based in Alberta, Canada. Provided the option is fully utilised by the customer, the total value to Vestas is approximately mEUR 50. The turbines will be installed at a new 75 MW wind farm located at McBride Lake in southern Alberta. The order does not influence the Vestas Group's expectations for year 2002 and 2003.
