Vestas Wind Systems, Vestas establishes factory for assembly of nacelles and hubs in Tianjin, China

The Vestas Group establishes a combined factory for assembly of nacelles and hubs in Tianjin, China. The factory will be built in Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area. Establishment of the factory will commence as soon as possible, and Vestas expects to deliver the first nacelles and hubs from the factory during the first half of 2007. Annual production capacity will be approx. 350 nacelles and hubs, and Vestas’ investment totals approx. EUR 19m.
