Vestas Wind Systems, Vestas receives additional V80 orders for the German market

The Vestas Group's German subsidiary has from Energiequelle GmbH received orders for 28 units of the V80-2.0 MW wind turbines. The orders are part of a frame agreement for supply of turbines to be delivered during 2002 and 2003. The turbines will be placed in wind farms located in Brandenburg, Lower Saxony, Saxony, Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate. The orders, which have a value to Vestas of around mEUR 55, do not influence the Vestas Group's expectations for year 2002-2003.
