Vestas Wind Systems, Vestas receives another large order for V80-1.8 MW wind turbines in the USA

The Vestas Group has received an order for 83 units of the V80-1.8 MW wind turbine for a wind power plant in Columbia County in the eastern part of Washington State. The project was developed by Blue Sky Wind LLC, an affiliate of RES America Developments Inc. and Renewable Energy Systems, Ltd. (RES), but has been purchased in full by Puget Sound Energy, Inc. (PSE), the utility subsidiary of Puget Energy, Inc. Shipment will begin in August 2005 with the commissioning date set for December 2005.
