Vestas Wind Systems, Vestas receives large order for the Italian market

The Vestas Group's Italian subsidiary has received an order for 134 units of the V52-850 kW wind turbines with an option for 35 additional turbines of the types V52-850 kW and V47-660 kW. The turbines will be delivered over the next 2 years and will be placed in nine new wind farms. The contract has a value to Vestas of up to mEUR 89, if the option is fully utilised by the customer. The contract does not influence the Vestas Group’s expectations for year 2002-2003.
