Vestas Wind Systems, Vestas receives large order for V82-1.65 MW wind turbines for 2006 delivery in the USA

The Vestas Group has received an order for 75 units of the V82-1.65 MW wind turbines for a project located in the North East region of the USA. The order, representing 124 MW, includes supply, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a five year service and maintenance contract. Commissioning of the wind power plant is scheduled for completion in two parts - 33 MWs in June 2006 and the balance of 91 MWs by the end of November 2006.
