Vestas Wind Systems, Vestas receives order for 23 units of V80-2.0 MW wind turbines for Taiwan

The Vestas Group has received an order for delivery of 23 units of V80-2.0 MW wind turbines to the Changkong project in the western part of Taiwan. The order has been placed by the national utility Taiwan Power Corporation Ltd. and comprises delivery of turbines, supervision of installation and commissioning as well as a two-year service and maintenance agreement. Delivery of the 46 MW wind power plant will begin in March 2006 and the turbines are expected commissioned during the autumn of 2006.
