Vestas Wind Systems, Vestas receives order for 36 units of V82 wind turbines in Nebraska, USA

The Vestas group has received an order for 36 units of V82-1.65 MW wind turbines from RES America Construction, Inc., headquartered in Austin, Texas. Nebraska Public Power District, the state’s largest utility and headquartered in Columbus, Nebraska, will own the wind power plant and utilize the power output. The 60-MW wind power plant, which also includes a two-year service, maintenance and warranty agreement, will be installed and commissioned by summer 2005.
