Vestas Wind Systems, Vestas receives order for 84 units of the V80-1.8MW wind turbine for expansion of project in Oklahoma, USA

The Vestas Group has received an order for 84 units of the V80-1.8 MW wind turbine for the expansion of an existing wind power plant located in southeast Oklahoma, USA. Zilkha Renewable Energy, headquartered in Houston, Texas, and Kirmart Corporation located in Wichita Falls, Kansas are the co-developers of the wind power plant. Vestas will supply, install and commission the wind turbines. Furthermore, the order includes a five-year service and maintenance contract.
