Vestas Wind Systems, Vestas selected as turnkey supplier for another major offshore wind project in the United Kingdom

The Vestas Group has been selected as supplier for another major offshore wind project in the UK. The 60 MW project at Scroby Sands off the East Coast of England is scheduled for completion in the autumn of 2004 and the project is the second of 18 similar projects planned in the waters around the UK. The turnkey contract has been awarded by Powergen Renewables Offshore Wind Ltd. and has a value to Vestas of app. mEUR 100. The order does not influence the Vestas Group's expectations for 2003.
