Filippa Wallestam appointed CEO of MTG Sweden
- Filippa Wallestam takes over responsibility for TV3, TV6, TV8 and TV10 together with Viasat, Viafree and MTG’s radio business in Sweden
- Appointed to develop MTG’s position as a fully integrated broadcasting, digital communication and content production company
- Appointment effective 1 April 2018
MTG today announces Filippa Wallestam as the new CEO of MTG Sweden. Filippa has worked at the company since 2014 in a range of roles, most recently as Head of Nordic Entertainment Operations. As CEO of MTG Sweden, Filippa will continue to develop MTG’s position as a fully integrated broadcasting, digital communication and content production company. The appointment follows MTG’s announcement that the company will split into two separate businesses – MTG and Nordic Entertainment Group. Filippa will report to Anders Jensen, who will become President and CEO of Nordic Entertainment Group.
Filippa joined MTG in June 2014 as Head of Strategy for MTG’s free-TV and radio businesses in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. She previously worked as a strategy consultant at Boston Consulting Group in London and New York, and at Daily Mail General Trust, owner of Mail Online.
