NENT Group launches ‘Limbo’ as latest Viaplay Original
- Swedish drama series stars Rakel Wärmländer (‘Eva & Adam’), Louise Peterhoff (‘The Truth Will Out’) and Sofia Helin (‘The Bridge’)

A trio of Sweden’s biggest acting talents will headline ‘Limbo’, the next Viaplay Original from Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group), one of the world’s fastest growing streaming companies. Rakel Wärmländer (‘Eva & Adam’), Louise Peterhoff (‘The Truth Will Out’) and Sofia Helin (‘The Bridge’) star in the six-part drama series, produced by Warner Bros ITVP Sweden (NENT Group’s ‘Love Me’ and the Canneseries winner ‘Partisan’). ‘Limbo’ will premiere exclusively on NENT Group’s Viaplay streaming service in 2022.
A late-night phone call changes everything for Ebba (Rakel Wärmländer), My (Sofia Helin) and Gloria (Louise Peterhoff). The news that their respective sons have been involved in a serious car crash puts their friendship and priorities to the ultimate test, and with Ebba’s son Jakob hovering between life and death, the three women find themselves in a devastatingly uncertain situation – in limbo.

‘Limbo’ is scripted by Emma Broström (‘Knocking’) and Rakel Wärmländer and directed by Sofia Adrian Jupither (‘Helt perfekt’). The series is currently filming in Stockholm.
