Physician and PhD student Erik Ising at Skåne University Hospital and Lund University, Sweden, will present research findings at the American Diabetes Association’s Scientific Sessions in San Diego, USA, in June 2017. Erik Ising have conducted a study using Multi Frequency Vibrometry to investigate vibrotactile sense in order to see whether it is possible to identify individuals with early sensory impairment, in hands and feet, among children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes mellitus.
