TRANSATLANTIC: TRANSATLANTIC'S PRESIDENT CARL-JOHAN HAGMAN TO LEAVE POSITION

President Carl-Johan Hagman has announced that he will leave the Group at the end of the year or as soon as a successor has been appointed. The Board of Directors and Hagman agree that the work in progress to focus and centralize the Group will proceed with undiminished intensity. Recruitment of a new president has commenced.

Chairman Folke Patriksson makes the following comments:
- "We regret that Carl-Johan Hagman is to leave the Group, but the process of change that we are undergoing will continue and a new president will take over from Carl-Johan in a spirit of mutual understanding and in a completely undramatic manner."

Carl-Johan Hagman is to assume the position of president of Hoegh Autoliners AS in Oslo.
