Vizrt places virtual environments and on-air graphics at the heart of CABSAT 2014

CABSAT 2014: hall 8, stand D8-10, February 18, 2014 – At this year’s CABSAT, Vizrt, a leading provider of content production tools for the digital media industry, will showcase its latest solutions to help broadcasters create smarter workflows for seamlessly combining creative broadcast graphics and video content. These include solutions for virtual environments including Viz Virtual Studio and a debut of Viz Engine and Viz Artist running on the NVIDIA GRID VCA - an appliance designed to create rich graphics in virtualised environments. At the event Vizrt will also showcase the latest software integrations including Adobe Anywhere, the Mosart newscast automation system, as well as its Viz Libero, (a sports analysis system), Viz Social TV and Viz Weather products. Demos will take place in hall 8 on Vizrt’s stand, D8-10.
The next level in sports
To capture sporting minds, Vizrt will dedicate an area to sports to present its sports analysis system, Viz Libero. Viz Libero is used to provide realistic 3D enhancements, virtual camera flights, advanced telestration, on-field advertising and much more. Viz Libero generates perfect perspective for analysing interesting or controversial scenes from live and recorded clips including mixed video feeds, providing sports fans with unlimited insights into sporting events. Powered by deltatre’s Magma Pro, Viz Libero can include player statistics, player tracking data and tied-to-pitch heat maps for major football tournaments, for a more enhanced viewer experience.
Virtual environments
Viz Virtual Studio will be at the heart of Vizrt’s stand, and in addition to a full virtual set, users will be able to augment a physical set with immersive graphics. With optical tracking technology from MotionAnalysis and mechanical tracking from Shotoku integrated, customers will also be able to track virtual objects within the set.
New to the region will be the NVIDIA GRID Visual Computing Appliance. In a virtual environment the appliance will run systems like Viz Artist to increase performance, flexibility and efficiency of key elements of your operation, accessible from any device, including Windows, Mac and Linux.
Seamless graphical integration
Vizrt will demonstrate an integrated workflow on how Adobe Anywhere can be combined to offer complete control of Vizrt graphics and video content for both local and remote users while still allowing users to maintain full device-adapted playout of graphics and video for multiplatform distribution.
News ready solutions
Vizrt will also present the Mosart newscast automation system, the most advanced news production platform on the market. Visitors will see how Mosart can be integrated seamlessly with their existing systems to enable complete control of all studio operations. The software-based automation system offers an extremely efficient workflow for controlling complex, content-rich productions with ease.
Visitors will also be able to see other solutions for Vizrt’s extensive product range, including Viz Multichannel, the Viz Social TV solution, Viz Weather and Viz Secure, Viz One media asset management solutions and video streaming platform.
The industry show is held annually in Dubai and will take place on 11-13 March 2014 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
