European broadcaster purchases comprehensive Vizrt package worth USD 1 million to expand capabilities and upgrade to HD

Bergen, Norway, November 28, 2012. Vizrt Ltd. (Oslo Main List: VIZ)

Vizrt Ltd. announced today a new deal worth USD 1 million for the implementation of broadcast graphics products with a TV channel in Eastern Europe.

The customer has been a client of Vizrt for many years and this new purchase upgrades many of its systems to HD as well as adding new capabilities to the workflow. In the newsroom, the editorial staff will have access to graphic templates through Viz Content Pilot in their current newsroom control system. Editors will also be able to access graphics templates in the edit bay through the Viz NLE plugin. These templates include any graphics elements needed for on-air use and maps generated through Viz World.

Additional Viz Trio's have been purchased to expand the control room's capabilities of triggering real-time graphics to air. The design team will also be able to use Viz Trio to test new templates as they create them.

Viz Virtual Studio is set to transform their on-air studio presentation by giving them the flexibility of having a virtual set. The set can be changed quickly between shows, takes up less space than traditional sets and integrates directly with their current graphic workflow.

Viz Engines render all the graphics in real-time. From rendering the Virtual Studio, to Viz Trio in the control room to the preview capabilities in the Newsroom, Viz Engine is the ultimate real-time 3D compositing system or broadcasters.
