Vizrt signs USD 1 million broadcast graphics deal in the Middle East

Vizrt Ltd. today announced a deal worth USD 1 million for the implementation of broadcast graphics products with a broadcaster in the Middle East. The broadcaster has news, sports and entertainment channels with Vizrt graphics systems being utilized throughout.
The five channels operated by the broadcaster will use Viz Multichannel as a branding tool across all channels, with Viz Engine rendering the branding as real-time 3D graphics.
News programming will use Viz Trio, Vizrt’s character generator (CG), in the control room for playlist control of live graphics. Viz World is in place for the creation of branded 3D maps, and Vizrt’s Social TV Solution will give the Network an easy way to moderate and distribute social media content on air.
In the studio, several massive video walls will be driven by content triggered from Viz Trio and rendered with Viz Engine.
Sports broadcasts will be enhanced with graphics from Viz Trio as well as detailed sports analysis from Viz Libero. The sports anchors will use Viz Libero to view replays and review sports events from unique angles, giving the viewers a clearer understanding of key plays and calls.
