Bergen, Norway, November 6, 2013, Vizrt Ltd. (Oslo Main List: VIZ).

Vizrt Ltd. announced today a deal worth USD 424,000 for the implementation of broadcast graphics and media asset management (MAM) products with a broadcaster in Asia.

The broadcaster has been using Vizrt's products at other studios for many years and this purchase will be for the sharing of resources, such as graphics, video and images among the various studios in the group. The sharing of resources will give the group an easy transition to the new software and hardware as well as create an efficient workflow from the newsroom to the studio for the broadcaster.

In the newsroom, journalists access and edit graphics templates from their native newsroom management system using Viz Content Pilot. Video is also searched and edited from the journalist's desktop using Viz Media Engine, Vizrt’s media asset management system. The video and graphics are easily added to a playlist and then played back in real-time from the control room using the playlist control version of Viz Content Pilot.

The studio presentation is enhanced with Viz Virtual Studio, giving the customer a powerful, template-based virtual studio. The presenters in the studio interact with touch screens and the virtual studio itself, using a suite of interactive plug-ins purchased along with Viz Engine.

All video and graphics for live news presentation are rendered in real-time with Viz Engine, Vizrt’s powerful compositing system.
