Vizrt signs USD 452k broadcast graphics deal with an African financial news channel

Bergen, Norway, June 27, 2014, Vizrt Ltd. (Oslo Main List: VIZ).

Vizrt Ltd. announced today a deal worth USD 452,000 for the implementation of broadcast graphics and data visualization products for a financial news channel in Africa. The channel is part of the international expansion of a global financial news channel that uses Vizrt products to visualize real-time financial data.

The deal includes a complete broadcast graphics workflow for news production environments. Viz Pilot, Vizrt’s content and control system, will allow journalists in the newsroom to edit graphic templates and build a playlist of graphics to be used live on- air. Journalists will also be able to create maps for global stories using Viz World for live productions.

In the control room, operators will control the Viz Pilot playlist of graphics, triggering content live to air. Many of the graphics used, including graphics that will be controlled by Viz Ticker, utilize live financial data through integration with Vizrt partner Astuce Media, including data integration services through Astuce Media to visualize financial data graphically, live on-air.

All graphic content will be rendered in real-time using the Viz Engine compositing system.
