Bergen, Norway, December 11, 2013, Vizrt Ltd. (Oslo Main List: VIZ).

Vizrt Ltd. today announced a deal worth USD 600,000 with a news channel in Western Europe for broadcast graphics software. The new installation provides the software for an integrated production workflow for the newsroom, control room and master control.

The deal includes Viz Content Pilot as the template-based newsroom graphics system integrated into newsroom control system. In addition, Viz World Classic has been upgraded to Viz World, giving the journalists access to maps from within the Viz Content Pilot interface. Editors in the newsroom will benefit from the Viz NLE plugin – part of Viz Trio – giving them access to graphic templates from within their native non-linear editing system.

In the control room, graphics for every broadcast will be triggered from Viz Trio, Vizrt’s character generator (CG). Viz Trio takes the playlist created in the newsroom by the journalist in Viz Content Pilot, and provides a simple interface for triggering the graphics live on-air.

The news channel will provide consistent automated branding across all their channels with Viz Multichannel. The system takes scheduled content from the broadcaster’s traffic department to display channel identification and programming teases live on-air.

All graphics are rendered with Viz Engine, Vizrt’s real-time 3d compositing engine. The news channel will utilize multiple Viz Engines for each of its channels.
