Bergen, Norway, June 6, 2014, Vizrt Ltd. (Oslo Main List: VIZ).

Vizrt Ltd. announced today a deal worth USD 753,000 for the implementation of broadcast graphics products with a sports channel in Southeast Asia. The customer selected Vizrt to provide a single graphics platform for all their production needs.

“Vizrt excels in sports production and this deal is evidence of that fact with a 24-hour sports network trusting us to deliver all of their live graphics production tools,” stated Martin Burkhalter, Vizrt CEO.

The deal includes a complete workflow solution to be implemented throughout the channel, ranging from the design department, to the newsroom, control room, studio and master control. In the design department, Viz Artist allows a team of artists to create real-time graphics content to be used live on-air. In the newsroom, journalists access graphic templates in their native newsroom control system using Viz Pilot. The journalists fill in content for these templates and build a playlist events. Editors in the newsroom access the same graphics using the NLE plugin, part of Viz Pilot, from their non-linear editing systems.

In the control room, the graphics playlist created by the journalist is displayed in the Viz Pilot interface, allowing an operator to trigger graphics live on air. Content for Viz Virtual Studio, Vizrt’s virtual set software, is also controlled by the Viz Pilot playlist. Viz Virtual Studio allows the broadcaster to have a virtual set and immersive graphics in the studio.

Viz Ticker resides in master control, displaying real-time sports information as a ticker across the bottom of the screen. All graphics are rendered in real-time using Viz Engine, Vizrt’s real-time compositing engine.
