Global premiere on Monday, July 18 at 7:30pm ET/6:30pm CT

NEW YORK, July 15, 2011 – Vme, the fourth largest Spanish network in the U.S., is launching Pase VIP, a new original series delivering the latest entertainment news with an all-access pass to today’s entertainment headliners in movies, television, music, theater, fashion and more.  Hosted by radio veteran Humberto “El Gato” Rodriguez and actress and TV host  Adriana Cataño, the half-hour weekly magazine will be shown on Monday nights at 7:30pm ET/6:30pm CT premiering on Monday, July 18.

Pase VIP is dedicated to providing comprehensive coverage of the most important entertainment stories of the day in a sophisticated, fun-to-watch style with a strong emphasis on its bicultural audience. Each week, the hosts wrap up breaking entertainment stories of the week, the hottest fashion news, as well as give viewers behind-the-scenes access of the latest television and Hollywood box office hits.

Not a gossip show, Pase VIP keeps viewers plugged into pop culture and the performing arts with revealing interviews with “it” artists from the music scene to the silver screen – not just those that have crossed over from Spanish-language music, film and television. Shot in Miami, the series also provides on-location clips from where the news is happening and also gives viewers an insightful look into the day in the life of a superstar.

Pase VIP provides one-stop shopping for viewers hungry for a weekly download of the latest and greatest in music, fashion and entertainment, covered in Spanish and featuring newsmakers from mainstream Hollywood and beyond.  The series is produced for Vme by Plural Entertainment. Executive producers are Ivano Leoncavallo and Alvaro Garnica and producers are Lionel Montells and Gaby Guimarey.

“Entertainment and celebrity news has become such a pivotal part of our pop culture, and Pase VIP will be the insider’s guide for our viewers,” said Guillermo Serra, Senior Vice President of Programming at Vme.  “The series sets itself apart from other entertainment shows by delivering stories with journalistic integrity while providing our viewers with unparalleled access to the hottest stars all over the world.”
