Vodafone Sweden is tomorrow Friday launching Sweden’s most value-for- money subscription for those who want new mobile phones – Vodafone Abonnemang. The subscription has no subscription fee and offers a uniform call rate of only SEK 0.79 per minute to all networks in Sweden - all day long, all year round. Furthermore, as opposed to similar subscriptions in the market, it allows Vodafone Sweden’s customers to buy mobile phones at reduced prices. “With Vodafone Abonnemang we go one better than our competitors by combining cheap and uniform pricing with no subscription fee and the possibility to buy the best mobile phones in the market at subsidised prices. With calls for only SEK 0.79 per minute to all networks and the chance to buy mobile phones at reduced prices, this offer will be hard to beat,” says Paul Moonga, Director of Consumer Services at Vodafone Sweden. “All our customer insights show that the mobile phone is a crucial factor when Swedes choose an operator and a subscription. We have a clear advantage of being able to offer unique mobile phones and we will continue to launch the very best handset models to our customers long before they are available from our competitors,” he says. Vodafone Abonnemang has a uniform charge of SEK 0.79/minute for voice calls to all networks in Sweden, all day long, with a connection fee of SEK 0.79. SMS costs SEK 0.79 each, MMS costs SEK 2.79 each while videocalls cost SEK 4.79/minute to all Swedish mobile networks. There are no fixed costs in the form of a subscription fee, but there is a minimum charge from SEK 79 per month where the customers can use up the whole amount by making both voice and videocalls and sending SMS and MMS. Vodafone Abonnemang has four minimum charge levels, three of which include the offer of mobile phones at reduced prices. The different charge levels mean that the more the customer talks, the less the customer pays for the mobile phone. With all the levels, customers can use up the whole minimum charge for making calls.
